The Elephant Jacket

Made using beautiful preloved cotton fabric for the exterior and a preloved fleece blanket for the interior, now transformed into a warm cosy jacket. 

It features a standing collar, one roomy pocket with a zipper closure and another small pocket for added detail, all made using reclaimed fabric.

The colors lean into autumnal tones, with a beautiful mix of orange, red, navy blue and cream color. Snap buttons are added to fasten the front. The pattern mix and design make it one of a kind.

This jacket is not very thick, but is warm and boxy.

 

Handmade in Montreal, Canada.

Sizing – one size fits many

Please remember that vintage fabrics are pre-used and may show some signs of age.

 

Measurements : (can vary slightly)

  • Length: 51cm
  • Pit to pit: 66cm
  • Sleeves: 82cm  (measured from center top)

All the measurements were taken with the garment laying flat. I recommend measuring something similar that you have and like the fit of. Measuring your body just tells you your actual measurements but it doesn’t take into account what level of ease you like in a garment.

 

Care Instructions – The garment has already been pre-washed, and can be machine laundered with warm water on a delicate cycle, and air dried.
